Spicy Tuna Donburi

One of our favorite weekend brunch dishes, with a spicy twist.



  • Tuna 150g
  • Avocado 1/2
  • Herbs: mint, chives, coriander, Shiso, dill parsley, or anything you have on hand and enough for two full spoons
  • Sauce soy sauce 1tbsp
  • Sesame oil 1tbsp
  • Mirin 1tbsp if you don’t have u can replace it with rice vinegar 1tbsp
  • Chili oil 1 tea spoon
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional: Sechuan pepper powder ad Nori seaweeds to your preference


  • マグロ 150g
  • アボカド 1/2個
  • ハーブ:ミント、チャイブ、コリアンダー、シソ、ディル、パセリなど手元にあるものスプーン2杯ほど
  • 醤油 大さじ1
  • ごま油 大さじ1
  • みりん 大さじ1 もし、みりんがなければ酢大さじ1
  • チリオイル 小さじ1
  • 塩コショウ
  • お好みで:四川唐辛子粉と海苔

Cut the avocado in big chunks and mix with the tuna
Mix all the ingredients of the sauce and add to the tuna avocado mix


Add all the herbs, finely chopped, and toss


If you have, sprinkle a bit of Sechuan pepper and crushed Nori seaweeds



Use it to top off a bowl of rice and enjoy!
