From farm to bottle, DAMDAM is Made in Japan by farmers, scientists, and makers with over 100 years of collective experience in Japanese craftsmanship.
DAMDAM products are sensitive-safe, clean, vegan, and cruelty-free. Our laboratory carries certifications of ISO9001 (Quality Management System), ISO14001 (Environmental Management System), COSMOS / ECO-CERT. We work in collaboration with CLOMA (Clean Oceans Material Alliance in Japan), and family farms with JONA (Japan Organic and Natural Foods Association) certifications.

The beauty of Japanese skincare rests in its connection to the natural world. Our formulas use ancestral Japanese ingredients, centuries-known as earth’s natural healers.
DAMDAM ingredients are 100% natural origin with heroes regeneratively farmed in local Japan. With our farmers, our work helps to restore otherwise abandoned farmland, reviving critical soil health across the country.

We’re dedicated to making conscious choices that reduce our impact. So far, we’ve leveraged the best of modern technology to ensure DAMDAM packaging is responsibly sourced and 100% recyclable.
Our bottles use glass and biomass, renewable organic material.
We use FSC-certified paper and non-VOC ink, which keeps hazardous pollutants out of our air.
Most shipping solutions use excessive amounts of plastic. Instead, we designed our own self-sealing box to ensure the safety and freshness of our products while in transit.
Our work goes beyond packaging. Since 2020, we’ve reduced carbon dioxide emissions at our lab facility by 10% annually.
